In Urumqi Customs District, 10,000 boxes of Uygur pancakes (“Nang”) were exported by a lorry from Horgos toward Kazakhstan on June 22, marking the first export after the operation of Horgos Uygur Pancake Industrial Park.

Opening on June 8, Horgos Uygur Pancake Industrial Park has a daily productivity of 50,000 pancakes by means of 73 automatic production lines. 

In order to promote the export of local special products, Horgos Customs House keeps active interactions with local enterprises and administrations to help them in registration of export foods, setup of cargo checkpoints, and operation of industrial projects.

According to the Customs House, their officers made advance audit of declaration documents and, with an expedite lane and counter, made non-intrusive inspection, sealing and release of export pancakes in priority so as to ensure no-delay clearance.
