On November 8, a cargo plane of Suparna Airlines, carrying laptops and cellphone accessories, left Haikou for Amsterdam, the Netherlands under the control of Haikou Customs, marking the first intercontinental airfreight of Hainan Free Trade Port.    

This flight transited to Haikou Meilan International Airport from Chongqing in the afternoon and then, with new loads, flew to the Netherlands, registering the first multi-port combination in outward transport at the Meilan Airport. The combined transport gives a new growth engine to Hainan Free Trade Port by integrating international airfreight resources and connecting global supply chains.

In support of the intercontinental airfreight, Haikou Customs got together the air carrier and airport operators to jointly optimize the operational procedure with definite standards and responsibilities; despite the urgent operational time, the Customs efficiently cleared the outward airfreight by means of apron tallying, manual inspection, video monitoring, etc.
