Customs inspection of export bullfrog legs
In Shantou Customs District, a batch of bullfrog legs, totaling 16.3 tons, were exported from the Longhu port on November 19 after customs inspection and quarantine.
To facilitate the export of bullfrog legs, Longhu Customs House makes the following measures: 1. Intensify quality monitoring involving drug residual and microorganism in the product, providing technical support for exporters, to ensure compliance with external quality requirements; 2. Reduce inspection frequency by applying the rule of “random spot check” as for conventional exports since September 20; 3. Reduce clearance time by means of online paperless declaration and a “green lane” with expedite inspection, certification and release.
“We will keep focusing on domestic and external challenges and supporting local industries and enterprises with customs technologies to help them integrate into domestic and external circulations,” said Lei Zhuotian, director of Longhu Customs House.
