From 18 to 19 May, 2022, China Customs attended the 23rd World Customs Organization (WCO) Asia Pacific Regional Heads of Customs Administration (RHCA) Conference via virtual platform, joining discussions and providing inputs on such topics as WCO Strategic Plan 2022-2025, capacity building, enforcement, etc. During the meeting, China Customs presented China’s “Smart Customs, Smart Borders and Smart Connectivity” (3S) Initiative and the 3S pilot projects, demonstrating China Customs’ practices of capitalizing on technology and innovation, which was well received by the participants.
