On April 6-7, China Customs attended on-line the 22nd WCO Asia-Pacific Regional Heads of Customs Administration Conference. During the conference, the Chinese delegates made suggestions on pandemic response, cooperation on “Smart Customs, Smart Borders, Smart Connectivity” and risk management, introduced China Customs’ new practices in certificate of origin management, and joined discussions on such topics as capacity building and enforcement. China Customs’ proposal of providing its Nanjing Customs Laboratory as the WCO Regional Customs Laboratory (RCL) was endorsed at the meeting.
