On March 3, 2022, China Customs hosted BRICS Customs Experts Online Meeting. As the first BRICS Customs event under China’s rotating presidency in 2022, this meeting focused on 2022 BRICS theme “Forming a High-Quality Partnership to Jointly Create a New Era of Global Development”, where experts from BRICS Customs exchanged views and reached consensus on mutual administrative assistance, smart cooperation, capacity building and law enforcement cooperation. Delegates also agreed on the arrangements of BRICS Customs meetings and activities throughout the year.
